Following the Government announcement last night, as of 12:00pm Wednesday 12 August Auckland will move into Alert Level 3 and the rest of NZ will move into Level 2. This means all of our clubs will need to reintroduce the processes recommended under this alert level.
As we’ve been here before and many clubs continue to have stringent cleaning procedures in place, I’m confident we’ll be able to transition into Level 2 relatively smoothly.
Here are some key reminders under Level 2
A register for all participants and spectators must be in place and able to be accessed quickly.
At Level 2 there is a 100 person limit. This includes outdoor and indoor sports facilities.
Cleaning and Hygiene
Participants should wash and dry their hands before and after playing.
Measures should be taken to minimise the sharing of equipment.
Exercise caution with common touch areas
Stay at home if you are feeling unwell.
Participants should try to maintain physical distancing before and after games and in changing rooms or in clubrooms.
